This Privacy Policy explains how ThinkScreens, a trading name of The Mesane Group (Pty) Ltd ("ThinkScreens", "we", "us"), collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit thinkscreens.com, request a quote, or engage us for the supply, installation, rental or servicing of LED display systems. We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

1. Information we collect

• Contact details you submit through our quote form or by email/phone — name, company, email, phone number and enquiry details.
• Project information shared during scoping, quoting, installation and servicing (site address, venue details, technical requirements, artwork/content briefs).
• Technical data collected automatically when you browse the site (IP address, browser, device, pages viewed) used to keep the site secure and to measure performance.
• Anti-spam verification — our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm you are a human. Cloudflare may process limited technical signals in line with their privacy policy.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to enquiries and prepare quotes, proposals and contracts.
• To deliver, install, service, rent out and support LED display systems.
• To issue invoices, process payments and keep tax and accounting records.
• To send project-related updates and, where you have opted in, occasional product news.
• To protect our site and services from fraud, abuse and security threats.
• To comply with legal, regulatory and warranty obligations.

3. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted parties who help us run our business, including hosting and email providers, installation partners, freight and logistics providers, payment processors and our accountants, auditors and legal advisors. We may disclose information if required by law or to enforce our rights.

4. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes above and to satisfy legal, tax and warranty record-keeping requirements (typically up to 7 years after the end of an engagement). Quote enquiries that do not proceed are archived and deleted on a rolling basis.

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is perfectly secure — you share information with us at your own risk and should keep your own login credentials and project files protected.

6. Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
